The Supreme Audit Institution Submits Audit Conclusions to the Seimas
Today, the supreme audit institution submited to the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania eight audit conclusions , which will be presented by the Auditor General Arūnas Dulkys at the Seimas' plenary session held at 12 p.m.
Along with the conclusions regarding the set of consolidated statements of the state and execution of the state budget for 2015, the set of national financial statements for 2015, and six funds (State Social Insurance Fund (Sodra), Compulsory Health Insurance Fund, Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant Decommissioning Fund, Guarantee Fund, Reserve (Stabilisation) Fund, and Privatisation Fund), the following package of audit reports will be presented to the Seimas: Implementation of Ignalina Programme Administration in Lithuania, The Use of Land Management and Administration Programme Funds for the Management of Public Land, Management of the Programme for Investment in 2015, and Programme Budget System: Setting Up Strategic Action Plans and Monitoring Their Implementation.
At 2 p.m., a press conference will be held at the Press Conference Hall of the Seimas dealing with the audit reports and conclusions presented.
The press conference participants include: Arūnas Dulkys (Auditor General), Laimonas Čiakas (Head of the National Audit Office's Audit Department 1), Zita Valatkienė (Head of the National Audit Office's Audit Department 2), and Sigita Rojutė (Head of the National Audit Office's Audit Department 6).
